There is a paid parking area available behind a restaurant called Lahemaa Kohvikann. It is a peaceful location and conveniently close to the Palmse Manor. The restaurant also offers delicious food.
Prima Platz is a great starting point for exploring the manor houses and hiking and cycling trails in the nature park. They have a new and very clean washroom facility with two showers and three toilets. You can enjoy a scenic view of the landscape and possibly spot storks, cranes, and eagles. The hosts are also very friendly.
Great place with a friendly hostess, as long as you are well-behaved. It's a perfect starting point for exploring the main attractions of the nature park. Each of the hiking trails is only about 3km long. The on-site restaurant is recommended, offering a variety of local dishes, including pork goulash with dark beer sauce and dumplings (prepared by a German chef). The campground provides full hook-ups, electricity, and Wi-Fi throughout. We were completely satisfied with our stay.
