This secluded spot is not an official location, but it is suitable for those with a 4x4 vehicle. To get there from Nijmegen, travel west along the dike. Shortly before passing under the bridge, make a left turn and proceed down the path.
We stopped by the beach on our daytime journey. The beach is fantastic! However, I was hesitant to drive my front-wheel drive van without off-road tires on the sand. Personally, I don't find the ships bothersome at all, as they are part of the scenery.
Great spot! However, it's not recommended for vehicles without all-wheel drive. We had no issues with our Overlander Cherokee XJ.
