Siesartis is a picturesque tourist camp situated in a serene forest near a scenic lake. The camp offers camping spots nestled among the trees, complete with fireplaces and picnic tables. There are also cozy huts available for shelter and boats for leisurely rides on the lake.
The parking spaces are in a beautiful location, right by the lake and surrounded by forest. However, accessing the back spaces can be challenging due to rough and bumpy roads. Low-hanging branches make it difficult to drive through, especially for campervans. It may be manageable for cars, but it's a bit tricky for larger vehicles.
We stayed here for 4 days in early August. The simple, natural campground was almost empty, with basic facilities and only pit toilets. There were some campsites with electricity. The campground is located right by a beautiful lake, with fire pits, firewood, and nice docks to relax by the water. It's surrounded by a large forested area, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The lake is great for swimming. We recommend renting site number 12, but 18 and 19 are also great. We parked our 6.40m-long motorhome on site number 12, right by the lake with our own private dock. It couldn't have been better! 5 stars!
