The Zetel municipality has been a strong advocate of camping and recently converted an old quarry pond into a bathing lake, complete with restroom facilities in a nearby beach house. Frank Bösel privately built a campsite with 101 pitches and two sanitation buildings, and now manages the bathing area with a lease agreement. The camping site continues to collaborate closely with the Zetel community.
