The path is rough with large stones and a steep slope. Vehicles need to have high clearance. During hunting season, it gets busy with hunters starting early in the morning.

Hiking
There is limited parking available at the trailhead for hikers. The road leading to the parking area is narrow and may be a bit challenging for larger vehicles. It is not suitable for vans without all-wheel drive. The parking area is secluded with no cell phone service, offering a peaceful and natural setting. There is another parking spot further down the road for those who may find it more convenient.
