The Daneway Pub is known for its warm and friendly hospitality, making it a great place to visit. It is located in a stunning location, surrounded by natural beauty. Guests have the opportunity to go on a lovely walk along the nearby canal, which is just steps away from the pub. The view of the forest and old canal is absolutely beautiful, and the area is rich with wildlife. Visitors can enjoy the soothing sounds of tawny owls calling throughout the night, as well as observe birds and deer foraging in the early hours of the morning. One notable feature is the absence of road noise during the night, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. Additionally, the pub offers fantastic food that guests can enjoy, and if you dine there, it's free.

We made sure to call ahead and confirm that we were allowed to spend the night in the car park with our T5 camper. Thankfully, the owners of the property were very welcoming and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food they provided. During the night, it was incredibly peaceful, and in the morning, we enjoyed taking walks along the scenic and abandoned canal.
