There is a small parking lot available for visitors to the castle and the town. However, it is not advisable to park there at night, as there may be some disturbances caused by the local youth who tend to gather in the area during evening hours.
There is a beautifully designed (play)ground available for the locals and travelers passing through. The location offers a picturesque view of the castle, as it is situated right by the water. Additionally, there are toilet facilities and the opportunity to bathe in the river.
On May 26, 2022, there was a safe overnight spot located by the Memele river. It was a pleasant location to stay.
