There is a parking spot near an old church, conveniently located near the Bosco San Pietro. It offers a pleasant setting for walks and cycling. While there is a water tap available within 100 meters, it's important to note that the water quality may vary, as we experienced a light brown color on one occasion.
Located in front of a peaceful church, this small spot experiences some noise in the early mornings due to passing cars heading to the hospital or Caltagirone. However, the area offers pleasant opportunities for walking and a little shop that serves excellent coffee. During winter, they only serve pizza on Saturdays. There are a few friendly stray dogs in the village, but overall, it lacks significant attractions.
We had a peaceful and restful night, followed by a beautiful sunrise. The afternoon siesta was also calm, except for some noise when the neighboring pizzeria opened. However, it shouldn't bother regular campers. There are many scenic walking paths to enjoy. The friendly dogs (who may be a bit shy) are looking forward to being fed.
