The Altéa campsite is a family-friendly campsite located in Vic-la-Gardiole, between Sète and Montpellier. It is closed from mid-November to mid-March. Check-in is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the low season, and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the high season. The campsite is conveniently located only 4.5km away from Aresquiers beach. The swimming pool is heated and available from mid-April to November.
We spent a night at this campsite with a camper van. We were warmly welcomed even though we arrived at 7:30 pm, after the office had closed. The campsite is of a manageable size and very pleasant, with clean facilities and a designated area for camper van waste disposal and refilling. The spacious pitches have electricity and are nicely separated by hedges. We highly recommend this campsite.
The WC area was dimly lit, and the pool was not yet open. They offered a bread delivery service. They stayed only briefly, as they were just passing through.
