The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and have excellent disabled access. Additionally, there is a TV leisure area, a kitchen, and access to hot and cold water. However, cooking facilities cost an extra £1 for 15 minutes, and there is no free Wi-Fi. The location is surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings.
Great campground to visit Edinburgh with a direct bus line just 5 minutes away (get off at "Princes street" for city center). Friendly staff, average sanitary facilities. It's recommended to have wheel chocks as most pitches are on an incline. Minus one star for the restaurant food which is not great, only worth it if you have nothing else to eat.
We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed. The campsite is clean and conveniently located near Edinburgh, with a bus service available for sightseeing in the city.
