The campground is quite unconventional and only suitable for campers. The local residents oversee the area, and the forest ranger conducts regular checks. Unfortunately, overnight stays are not allowed. As a result, we decided to leave.

Enjoy a scenic meadow orchard filled with a variety of fruit trees including apples, pears, cherries, walnuts, and plums. There is a charming picnic hut for a relaxing break and shelter. The area also serves as a starting point for several hiking trails in the Stemweder Berg. Surrounding the orchard, you will find the stunning Dümmer Lake, unique swamps, and the historic village of Quernheim, complete with an old cinema. Access to the orchard is via a small dirt road, although please note that it may be challenging to turn around. Information regarding overnight stays is not provided.
