The campsite is situated by the Friedenhainsee and has its own swimming area and grassy space, which is open to the public as well. Most of the campsite is occupied by long-term campers, but there are also around 30 spots available for short-stay visitors. The sanitary facilities are a bit basic, but functional. During the day, there may be some noise from the nearby water ski facility.
We paid 22 Euros for our camper van. No access to water or electricity. There is WiFi available, but it doesn't work. There are lots of signs prohibiting certain things and old chemical barrels blocking off areas. We don't feel welcome here. We're giving it 2 stars because we have direct access to the lake.
We stayed here for one night and found it to be very nice. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean. However, there is potential for improvement. The campsite has the largest water ski facility in the world right next door (1200m)!! The card system for entry is great. The price is €29 for a van with 2 people, which includes electricity, Wi-Fi, and showers. New dishwashing facilities are also available.
