Stayed at a campsite for one night. Booked and paid through Pitchup. The staff were extremely friendly and the scenery was breathtaking. The campsite is away from main roads, with only a dirt path nearby used by tractors.
This campsite offers great value for campervans at a cost of £20 per night for 2 adults without power. The site provides clean toilets, good showers available for a small fee (£1 for 6 minutes), facilities for waste disposal, and water refill. The owner was extremely friendly and even helped us when we were stuck in the wet grass, using his 4x4 to pull us out.
The campground is situated in a beautiful wooded area, with secluded pitches. The facilities are well-maintained. However, during my conversation with the owner, I was informed that they are currently only accepting walk-in reservations due to the ongoing sale of the property. This information was provided in mid-August 2023.
