Camp Vugec is a charming and modern campsite located in a tranquil countryside setting. It offers grass pitches and even has a swimming pool. It is conveniently located just a 25-minute walk from Samobor. For those who prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop only 100m away which provides easy access to Zagreb. From Zagreb, you can then take tram 11 from the terminal to reach the city center. The owner of the campsite, Dusko, is incredibly helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond by driving us into town, giving us a guided tour, and offering valuable recommendations for food and drink options. Despite being a small site, the facilities at Camp Vugec are exceptional. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this campsite.
This place is highly recommended! It is clean, peaceful, and the owners are extremely friendly. They greeted us with a traditional drink called Slivovic :-D We stayed for one night as a stopover on our way to the southern part of Croatia. We will definitely return in the future!
The owner of the campground is very kind and welcoming. The camping facilities are excellent and well-maintained. The pool is also kept clean.
