From Dumfries, take the A75 towards Newton Stewart. When you reach Newton Stewart, turn right onto the A712, then immediately left onto the B7079. Follow this road into Newton Stewart, passing a petrol station on your right. Instead of crossing the River Cree over the bridge, turn right onto Millcroft Road, which will continue as Cumloden Road. Keep going uphill, passing a motorhome rental place and an old folks home on your left. Look out for Bower Drive on the right. We are the first bungalow on the right, with a sign that says "Glen Duich Aire."
This place is peaceful and has a charming garden surrounding a bungalow. The owners are friendly and enjoy conversing with their guests. Currently, the only service provided is water refill, as no other facilities are available at the moment.
A beautifully arranged place near the hosts' residence. Can accommodate up to three RVs and has a water filling station. The hosts are extremely friendly, interested, and helpful, better than any camping site. Staying here is a pleasure, and the fee of 8 pounds is gladly paid. Highly recommended location within walking distance of the town.
