We offer a pitch for two people per night, which includes disposal of black and gray water, fresh water, and electricity. Additional amenities include a party tent, seating, a designated area for grilling, a playground, a sunbathing area, and a toilet with a washbasin. We now also have a charging option for e-bikes and e-scooters. Additional services such as the use of a bathroom, shower, toilet, washing machine, provision of a grill or fire bowl, drinks, and snacks are available for an extra fee. Bookings can be made by phone. We also offer long-term camping and winter parking space upon request. Our pitch and campground are located in the beautiful district of Mittelsachsen, in the charming village of Geringswalde. From here, you can easily reach the cities of Leipzig, Chemnitz, and Dresden, as well as other nearby attractions like Freiberg, Meißen, and Zwickau, within a 45-minute drive. Within a short distance from our campground, you'll find the "Menu 2000" restaurant, which offers affordable breakfasts and lunches. Next door, the "Karpfenschänke" restaurant serves upscale home cooking and regional specialties. Please check their individual opening hours. In Geringswalde, which is a 15-minute walk from our campground, you'll find shops and an outdoor pool (open in summer). The area also offers opportunities for hiking and cycling, with attractions like the König-Friedrich-August-Turm, Auenwald, and Fröhne. Within a 15-minute drive or bike ride, you can visit the Kriebstein dam, which features a castle, an open-air theatre, a climbing forest, and a harbor. Other nearby destinations include Colditz, Leisnig, and Rochlitz, which boast beautiful palaces and castles, shopping areas, and bathing opportunities. Don't miss the unique porphyry landscape, including the "Rochlitzer Berg," and the town of Döbeln, which is known for its giant boots. Cycling enthusiasts can explore the Chemnitztal, Mulde, and Elbe cycle paths nearby, offering extended tours on two wheels. For family fun, you can visit the Sonnenlandpark in Lichtenau, the Plohn amusement park, and Belantis near Leipzig.
