There is a large parking area in front of the refuge, along with a picnic space that includes tables, a barbecue, and a fountain. You can also set up tents in a spacious area under the trees for privacy.

Parking is available at the 1st Amiatino Refuge at no cost. It is located near a forest and a picnic area. The site is calm at night and offers plenty of shade during the day.
