"Ferieninsel Winningen" is a spacious campsite located on a charming island in the scenic Moselle region. In addition to its boat slip and island restaurant, the campsite provides easy access to the marina. A lovely wine village is conveniently within a short 10-minute walk, and an outdoor swimming pool is also close by.
You can freely choose a spot on the large meadow and there is water all around. We didn't find the train, road, and boat traffic disturbing. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient. The food in the island restaurant is very tasty. The service is attentive and friendly. The place is dog-friendly without any disturbance from the dogs. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
We had a very peaceful night here. This place is a great starting point for a bike tour along the Mosel river.
