This orchard is situated in a beautiful spot on a farm, offering a clear view of the surrounding lands. It is conveniently located along the Werra-Suhltal cycle path, with a connection to the Werratal cycle path. Nearby attractions include the town of Bad Salzungen, the Merkers mine, and the Wartburg in Eisenach. Additional amenities include a bread delivery service, transportation to the train station for excursions, and a reception that is staffed for several hours each day.
The location is great with clean facilities. However, there is a risk of getting stuck on the wet grass. In summer, this shouldn't be a problem. The price of 18 euros is slightly higher compared to other places that charge 15 euros. Overall, it is recommended. :)
Warm welcome from the host, spacious pitches on a grassy field alongside sheep and mini pigs. Ice creams and snacks available. Showers and toilets on site. Everything you need is provided. Highly recommended.
