The Port of Bernu is located about 4 km north of Blaye on the Gironde River. It has a paved road, a small parking area for 5 or 6 vehicles, and a picnic table. There are no specific restrictions, so staying overnight may be allowed.
The location is quiet with a nice view. It would earn a 5-star rating if there weren't litter everywhere, like cans and plastic stuck in trees, and empty containers lying around. Additionally, there is a large number of barking dogs present at all hours.
Good for a night stay. Located next to a kennel. The dogs stopped barking at night. Enjoyed the sunset over the river.
