To reach the campsite from SCAURI on SS7, take the first right after crossing the bridge over the river Garigliano. Follow this road along the river and then take the first right again. You will reach a large parking lot at the campsite. From there, continue on the path that offers a great view of the sea and the mouth of the river. This road is quite uneven and ends in a peaceful and secluded area with no through traffic. Please note that there are no additional services available at this location.
This spot receives a rating of 4 stars due to its beautiful location for a tranquil evening by the sea. However, it should be noted that the area is not well-maintained and tends to be littered with plastics and other debris. Despite this, it remains a pleasant parking spot for leisurely walks along the beach and offers a breathtaking sunset view from your camper.
This place is often frequented by suspicious and undesirable individuals. One man hid in the reeds nearby, while another kept pacing back and forth in his car before finally staring at us without saying a word. We decided to leave, as it was not a safe or thrilling experience.
