I have stayed there twice before. Despite the nearby road, it is peaceful. The local youth were once in the woods, but they left quickly. The place is clean and close to the highway. There are seating areas and trash bins available.

There is a small parking lot by the road that is inconspicuous, making it suitable for hikers. This is where the 4 mountain hiking tour begins.
