Stay at Camping Riezu, located near Lake Alloz. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, with a French-speaking receptionist. Enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool, a small play area, a mini supermarket, and an on-site restaurant.
There is a campground near Lake Alloz, but you need to drive to reach it. The facilities are very clean and the shower has great water pressure. I deducted one star because of the price. It costs the same as the campground by the lake, which in my opinion offers more amenities.
No drainage for gray water. We found several shards of glass on the ground of the campsite, bathrooms could be cleaner, loose dogs causing inconvenience, and the list goes on... The surroundings are beautiful, but in my opinion, the campsite could use some improvements. On the positive side, there is a pool available.
