There is a well-maintained parking lot that leads to a 1.5 km hike up to Boknafjellet. The trail consists of a wide gravel road and is surrounded by lovely landscaping. On clear days, the view from the top is stunning. We had a peaceful night there.
Quiet at night, occasional passing vehicles in the morning. Rocky and unique landscape, not easily visible from the main road. The rooftop tent can be a bit shaky due to the lack of wind protection. The sound of flowing water makes it a hidden gem. ;)
This is a great place with a breathtaking panoramic view that can be enjoyed after a short hike. Although it is located near the road, there is very little traffic.
