Introducing a new campsite at Elm's Hotel Segnes. We have 4-5 parking spaces suitable for motorhomes up to 7m/3.5 tons. The location is beautiful, slightly sloping, and easily adjusted with a wedge. It is conveniently located near the bypass road with minimal traffic. The Rhyner family offers optional breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Toilet facilities are available at the hotel during opening hours or in the village, a 3-minute walk away. Fresh water supply is provided, and you can find gas bottles in the village grocery store. For supply and disposal, visit the Buchholz parking space in Glarus, 12.5 km away. The cost is CHF 25.00 per night per vehicle, inclusive of visitor's tax, fresh water, electricity, and toilet usage. Payment options include cash, debit/credit cards, Postcard, or TWINT upon arrival at the hotel. The Sernftal mountain village, recognized with the Wakker Prize, is known for its traditional wooden houses. The area is also home to the UNESCO World Heritage site Tectonic Arena Sardona as well as an impressive slate mine and slate factory museum. Elm offers a diverse ski area, a toboggan run, and is a paradise for hiking and mountain biking. You can take a scenic walk (Suworowweg) to Schwanden and return via bus. Enjoy swimming in the mountain lake and dine at the inviting mountain restaurants in both the ski/hiking area and the village.

The camping area is spacious, but the power outlets are far away, so you will need a long cable. The view is excellent, overlooking the Martinsloch. There are multiple public toilets available in the village, in case the hotel is closed.

Great parking spot. We stayed for 1 night and did the Elmer Citro trail. Beautiful hiking area. The Rhyner family was very helpful, lending us an extension cord since the power box was far away. We will definitely come back.
