The Bowling Green Steakhouse offers convenient parking just outside a pub car park. Although located on a private lane, the area is secure. The pub offers decent food, but it may not be particularly exciting. Overnight parking is available at no cost, but there are no additional facilities. Please note that the parking area is adjacent to the M40 motorway, which may result in some noise.
If we hadn't left early, we would have had breakfast there too. They have a wide variety of drinks, including specialty gins and vodkas. The staff were very friendly, making us feel at home as we played dominos and enjoyed our drinks. The car park has a height barrier, but we had already asked the pub if we could stay overnight.
