The owner is very friendly and always helpful. The bathrooms are a bit old but still clean. The only downside is the railway line next to the lake, which can be a bit distracting. Overall, a good experience and would consider coming back.
The camping ground at Silbersee near Celle is currently undergoing renovations. The sanitary facilities, while old, are clean and suitable for a short stay. In the winter of 2020/2021, the existing building will be demolished and rebuilt. The entire campsite will also be renovated in the coming months or years. The lake is a great spot for swimming, with a sandy beach and a gently sloping shoreline. The historic town of Celle can be reached by bike in just 20 minutes.

The old run-down campground is said to be renovated over the years by its owner. The sanitary facilities are old, with communal showers for women and no privacy. The warm water supply was reliable, but the dishwashing area had a strong odor of mold. Electricity and water were included in the price. Unfortunately, the value for the price paid was not satisfactory. It cost €31 per night for two people and a dog. The owner was friendly, but the place does not make one want to come back again.
