The camping site is quite expensive for what it offers. The WiFi signal is almost non-existent and without an electrical connection, it's impossible to charge your phone. There are no power outlets available throughout the camp. They do provide the option to charge your phone at reception for a "reasonable" fee of £3 for an hour.

The toilets are in a very poor condition. Although the sanitary facilities are new and modern, the toilet flush is very unreliable. Sometimes, there is not even enough water for basic needs. As a result, the toilets (especially in the ladies' area) are often unclean and unsanitary. It is a shame because the rest of the campground, with its beautiful lake, is actually quite nice. The majority of the visitors are older. The washing machines and dryers are emptied promptly at 8 pm. The location is convenient for travelling to London, with a 1.9 km walk to Horsley train station and then a train ride to Waterloo, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
