Camping Poarta Oilor is managed by a Dutch team. They offer pitches with clean toilets and showers, WiFi, and a pool (available during summer). The campsite has grass fields, although there is limited shade. Please note that in August 2019, the camp hosted a holiday camp for 80 children who enjoyed the pool and playground during the day, but it was quiet at night.
There was disagreement among the employees about whether the campground was open. The manager informed us that they couldn't accommodate anyone because there was a camp for Christian youth taking place. However, it also appeared that no one had been there for a while.
The place seems to no longer be accessible to the public, despite the presence of signs. The area is still well-maintained, but the gate was locked. The people on the premises appeared surprised when we arrived, but did not offer much of a response.
