This is a wonderful place to visit. We stayed for two nights because the weather was great and the view was amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any dolphins. We plan to return. If you bring a dog, please clean up after it.

Osavegen, Ulvik, Vestland, NorwayThis is a quiet, remote location with little traffic, suitable for smaller vehicles due to a steep gravel driveway. It offers a nice view of the Balåifossen waterfall, making it a lovely spot for a homemade scrambled egg while enjoying the scenery.

Camping is not allowed here. This is a parking area for a mountain hut on the other side of the fjord, only accessible by boat. There is a risk of landslides, as part of the mountain collapsed four years ago. Steel netting has been installed for safety, but its effectiveness is uncertain.
