There is a small parking lot by the Eder river with a picnic table on the grass. It is located between the two bridges near Herzhausen station. It is a peaceful place, especially at night. There is a snack bar about 300 meters away, easily accessible by the cycling path along the Eder. Some parts of the parking lot are used for storing construction materials.
