The campsite at Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Centre is a great choice for those interested in water sports. It offers convenient access to the center and is located within a 10-minute walk from the bus stop that provides transportation to Nottingham city center.
A peaceful and convenient green area perfect for exploring Nottingham's city center. The canal-side cycling path makes it easy to reach the city. However, it can be quite expensive for an overnight stay and the customer service is not up to par.
Our stay was pleasant and comfortable at this peaceful location. The site was quiet and the facilities were well-maintained, including warm showers. It cost £10 for a taxi ride to town. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds and made use of the waterspouts facilities in the morning.
