"Le Caminel***" campsite is a pleasant and peaceful place with lush surroundings, providing shade and a swimming pool just 4 km away from Sarlat. The campsite offers clean bathroom facilities and has a friendly reception. It is an affordable option, and we chose to stay here due to the other campsites being fully booked.
This camping site is in need of renovation and not suitable for campervans. The pitches are small with limited privacy, and there are no European power outlets, only shared outdoor outlets. The customer service is not very friendly, and the site is far from Sarlat. It does not meet the standards of a three-star rating.
Family-friendly campground with welcoming staff. They are helpful and kind. The campground could benefit from some updates, but it is a great option for a one-night stay.
