Access is difficult for larger vehicles. The area is nice but a bit uneven, though there are 2-3 flat spots available. The road is audible but not disruptive, and the E10 hiking trail runs right by the site.

There is a camping area for vans and campers near the lake. It includes a fire pit with firewood and a dry toilet. Although the nearby main road can be heard, it is not disruptive. The access road may be rough and muddy after rain.
