There is a small parking lot located at the entrance to Hassenroth, near Höchst in the Odenwald. The parking lot has a small pond with benches, a shelter equipped with a table and chairs. It is a great starting point for various hiking trails and also offers the possibility of overnight stays. The parking lot can accommodate 2 mobile homes and 8 cars. There are no prohibition signs, however, please note that the parking time is limited to 10 hours as of April 2023. In the village, there is a convenient small corner shop (located approximately 700m away at An der Strieth 7) that offers baked goods, drinks, newspapers, ice cream, and more. Please note that the shop may not always be open.
