There is a small flat area by a river, just before a dam, where you can park 1 or 2 vans. You may see the cow caretaker at night and in the morning, but no other people. It's a good spot for a one-night stay before heading to Grand Saint Bernard pass.
Fährt man 20 Meter weiter zurück, gelangt man zu einer schönen Wiese am Fluss. Man hat Zugang zum Wasser und kann dort übernachten, ohne andere Menschen zu sehen. Es ist ruhig und malerisch, aber beim Parken sollte man auf den ebenen Untergrund achten.
A peaceful place when there are no roadworks above. The cool river is nice to listen to at night.
