Zagreb camp is a pleasant location situated close to a lake. It offers the convenience of having a pizzeria and bar with live music right on site. The toilet facilities are well-maintained, although some of the showers appear to be in need of refurbishment. The staff at the campsite are friendly and readily available to assist guests. For those looking to explore the area, there is a train station approximately a 30-minute walk away. Alternatively, a taxi service can be arranged to take you to Zagreb for a fee of 100 kn. Additionally, there is a cycle path along the river on either the left or right bank. On the right bank, there is a small passage located at lake level under the highway.
We spent one night in a tent without a reservation. There was plenty of space to choose from, right by the lake. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, with hot water. There is a great restaurant on the property. Free WiFi is available everywhere. I highly recommend it!
The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. There is no hot water when showering. Paying 31 euros for this service in March is too expensive. There is a very good restaurant/pizzeria nearby and a well-maintained village shop within a 5-minute walk.
The campsite is very well-organized and welcoming, with extremely friendly staff!
