As of May 11, 2023, there were temporary closures of water and toilet facilities. Access to the site is only possible with 4x4 vehicles or small vans. The view from the castle ruins is stunning, and the granite tables are covered for protection. The site was renovated and completed in October 2021, including the addition of a stone BBQ area.
Access is limited to small vans only, such as the Volkswagen California 4x4. Despite this, the location offers a peaceful environment. Camping overnight is permitted, and there is a functioning water source. However, the toilet facilities were closed during our visit.
