There are 3 spots on the riverbank, or you can park on the nearby grass or gravel. If it rains, the ground parking can get muddy and the access has a deep channel, so it is better to park on gravel.
To find the visitor center called "the bear village" in Stupizza, follow the signs and turn left onto a dirt road. Keep going until you reach a clearing before a bridge. The parking area is secluded and quiet, but hunters may come in the early morning. This spot is also popular among rock climbers and hikers. We stayed there for one night only.
