There are several convenient spots by the river for a peaceful stay. We enjoyed a two-night stay here, where you can relax and go for a swim. To reach it, simply follow the river from the bridge that leads to Berca. In just a five-minute walk, you'll find a source of drinking water. This little forested area at the end of the path, on the left side near a picnic table, is where you'll find it.

We spent some time finding the access as the GPS was not familiar. Coming from Berca, you need to cross the bridge over the Buzau River and immediately take a right onto the path on the dam, just after the end of the rail. Then drive 2 to 3 km on a very bumpy road. There are several spots to relax. However, please be cautious during rainy weather. It is peaceful with a few swimmers and walkers.
