There is a small car park for hikers located at the end of a quiet street in Neumünster Wittorf, near the Stör and Schwale rivers. It is approximately 3 kilometers away from the city center. The car park is made of gravel, and although the nearby road can be heard, it is not overly loud. To access the car park, there is a gravel road about 500 meters long.
Every morning at 7 am, a group of men arrive at the parking lot in a blue car. They honk, shout, and laugh. Sometimes there is also a loud noise, but we couldn't tell if it was a stone or a firecracker. I'm not sure how often these guys come here, but I advise everyone who parks here to lock their camper before going to sleep.
I spent half the day here and also took a few hours nap in the afternoon. It's really nice, with birds singing and a few people taking a walk. Perfect for walking the dog. The mentioned humming from the radio tower is hardly noticeable as the sounds of nature almost drown it out. It was noticed by a passerby that campers often stay here, so let's keep it clean to preserve it. ;)
