We had a great experience at the campsite. The owners were very friendly and the facilities were clean and modern. The pitches were level and we had a lovely view of the pond. The location was convenient with a bus stop nearby, providing easy access to the center of York. We paid £25 for a pitch by the pond, where we could park on concrete tiles. There were also pitches available for £20. Although the train passed by every 1.5 to 2 hours and honked, it didn't cause us much disturbance.

This well-maintained and beautiful campground offers fantastic hospitality. However, it's worth noting that there is a train that passes by and honks its horn just behind the hedge at a distance of 15 meters from the camping spots. To avoid the noise, it is recommended to choose a spot far away from the hedge.
