The location is situated on the right side at the top of Tejo river's natural narrow area, known as Portas de Ródão, with an elevation of 220m above the river. It provides beautiful views, especially during sunset, sunrise, and star-gazing. However, it is important to note that there is an unpleasant smell in this spot. The small parking area can get crowded during the summer with tourists' cars heading towards the viewpoint and old tower. If the parking space is full, it is advised to wait at the previous parking space. Please remember that during summer and weekends, it is recommended to stop at the designated area and walk for 300m to check if parking is available, as the road is flat but narrow even for cars to pass through.

The site is beautiful, the road is narrow, and the parking area is quite small. There was a slight smell, but it was only for a brief moment when it smelled like overcooked cabbage, possibly due to the strong wind that evening. Unfortunately, the toilets were not usable during our visit.
