This is a convenient place to stop for the night, especially if you're catching a ferry. To access the area, you simply drive up to the barrier and call the provided number. A person will then come and let you in for a fee of £10. From here, you can enjoy good views of the ferries and there's a decent pub just a minute away. However, it's important to note that there are no additional facilities available, only a rubbish bin.
I stayed at this place for two nights before taking the ferry to France, which is conveniently only 5 minutes away. I rated it with 5 stars because even though there are no additional services, the staff at the gate were extremely friendly and helpful. The nights were peaceful and felt secure, and you get your own seafront view. It costs £10 per night.
