This hiking parking lot is peaceful and has a smooth asphalt surface. It is slightly sloped, but there is no need for additional support. There are no facilities at this location. It is perfect for a brief hike of 2.5 km to the Effelsberg radio telescope. There is also a designated mountain bike route.

A calm place with a gentle slope. It is a bit narrow but generally not a problem, even for motorhomes. We stayed there with a 6.7-meter motorhome and a 3-meter trailer.
