The holidays were very calm, which resulted in plenty of available space. Even though the lake is small, there are options for renting SUP boards and dinghies. However, the meadow lacks shade. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent.
There is plenty of space at this camping site. You will be given the key for the gate and toilet facilities. The restaurant onsite offers good food, but be aware that cash payment is required, as is common in many places in Germany. The staff is friendly and there is a lovely lake for swimming. It is clear that the peak vacation season has ended, as there are fewer people present.
We parked our van elsewhere and just wanted to use the shower here. We didn't have to pay the entry fee for the swimming pool, only the shower tokens. The facility looks well-maintained. The lady at the reception was very kind. We will definitely come back, maybe even stay overnight next time.
