There is a parking lot located near a road that is not heavily trafficked in December. The parking space is not small. During winter, there is a beautiful view when coming and going. In the morning, some friendly anglers from the nearby town come for ice fishing. It is very dark at night, making it perfect for capturing nighttime photographs. Additionally, there is an acceptable outhouse available.
Great place to stay in a van, but a bit too small for larger recreational vehicles. The access road is now easy to navigate, though it is a gravel road with no potholes. There are tables and benches with a roof, access to the lake, and a dry toilet across from the area.
