Great overnight parking option. Located a bit off the road, but easily accessible even during snowy winter months. Starting at 8:30am, it gets crowded with hikers and skiers, but everyone is very friendly.

Auerhahn is a parking area located near the forest. It is quiet at night and there is a restaurant nearby. Some popular hiking trails in the area include Goetheweg, Zum Aussichtsberg (with refreshments available), Kickelhahn, and the Goethe Museum.

This place is a peaceful and beautiful spot, slightly inclined. It's a great starting point for biking and hiking tours. The guesthouse serves delicious regional food.
