The Garlaban campsite is a three-star facility that is open from March to November. It offers a total of 66 pitches for visitors to set up their camp. This campsite is surrounded by nature, providing a peaceful and tranquil environment for campers. Please note that the campsite does not have facilities for emptying waste and black water. It is important to make alternative arrangements for these services during your stay. Due to the risk of fire in the area, certain safety measures are in place. The use of barbecues, candles, and similar items is prohibited to ensure the safety of all campers. The campsite offers additional amenities such as a swimming pool and a games area, providing opportunities for relaxation and recreation during your stay.
This is a lovely and spacious campsite surrounded by trees. The staff gave us a warm welcome and spoke good English. The toilets and showers were clean. WiFi is available at the kiosk by the reception. We paid around 27€ for a one-night stay for two people and a camper. The paths on the campsite can be a bit challenging as they are quite rugged. However, we would definitely come back again.
We are very happy with the service and the location. It's perfect for visiting Marseille without the stress of parking and vandalism.
On Saturday, four adults enjoyed a peaceful and shaded camping experience at a clean site with spacious pitches. The cost was 30 euros for electricity. The campsite also offered a complimentary shuttle service to the Aubagne train station, where trains to Marseille run every 20 minutes. For the return trip at night, a taxi for four people cost 50 euros. I highly recommend this camping site.
