The parking lot at the hunting lodge offers secure and well-lit parking options. We stayed for two nights as the other spaces were muddy after the rain. The parking lot is made of gravel or asphalt and allows for hiking or walking in the nearby Little Deister area. However, it's worth noting that the noise from passing cars can be clearly heard.
Due to the busy Pentecost weekend, we have parked temporarily here during our hike. For a quieter stay, you can park on L461 (approximately 1 km east). The spot is well-fortified, close to the Saupark trails. Note: Park gates close at 5 pm.
